start LOGGING some turbine time!
Aside from simply being a much cooler flying experience, flying in a turbine is pretty much a necessity for a career in rotorcraft aviation. Not to worry though, Rogue Aviation has you covered with our R66 Turbine Transition Training!
What makes a turbine aircraft so special? There are a lot of benefits to flying turbine including the fact that turbine engines are lighter, more powerful and smaller engines. This means you can carry a greater payload (more passengers, baggage or equipment); you can climb faster and go farther;
…and because turbine engines have less moving parts than their piston engine counterparts, they’re more dependable and require less service.
The best part is that all turbine transition training at Rogue Aviation takes place in “Rogue One”, our Robinson R66 Turbine, which can save you up to $1,000 per hour in comparison to other turbine powered helicopters like the A-Star or Bell Jet Ranger.
So, the question is, why wouldn’t you want to fly a turbine?
