Funraise Goes Rogue: Stock Footage for a Good Cause

Last November, Funraise, a Long Beach-based organization that raises money for nonprofits, released a video for Dressember, an incredible, international cause… and they used one of our Downtown LA clips from Film Supply!

We are so proud to see our clip used in a video to highlight the growth of such a powerful campaign. Did you see our shot of DTLA at 18 seconds?

In December 2018, Funraise promoted Dressember, a charity that uses fashion to spread awareness of the international human trafficking crisis. What started as founder’s Blythe Hill’s simple dress challenge during December 2009 became a massive project of donations and advocacy. For every day during December, participants pledge to wear a dress or tie to make a statement and get the conversation started about ending human trafficking. Dressember believes, “you can do anything in a dress.” Since 2013, the foundation has raised more than $5 million to fight this epidemic.
