Best Spring Break Spots in Southern California
Spring is finally here, and there’s plenty to see in sunny SoCal. Here are five of our favorite spots to visit (and see from the skies)!
Huntington Beach Pier
Surf City is a classic spring break spot–the restaurants, the beaches, the shopping. Plus, as the weather warms up, more and more surfers brave the waves. This is one experience that’s worth seeing from land and the skies.
santa monica and venice
Is this a touristy area? Admittedly, yes. Is it a blast? Absolutely. Rides, games, and great food are abundant on the Santa Monica Pier, and between Muscle Beach and the skate park,
there’s plenty of wackiness to see in nearby Venice.
balboa fun zone
Looking for a coastal-inspired afternoon? Between the ferris wheel, the restaurants, the shopping, and the arcade, there’s plenty to see and enjoy. (And don’t miss the candy store!) Plus, when you fly overhead, you’ll see the historic ferry, Balboa Island, and the stunning homes surrounding the harbor.
flower fields and gardens
Spring is in bloom! Visit Tanaka Farms in Irvine, Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge, or The Flower Fields in Carlsbad to experience the incredible, seasonal florals. For a greater vantage point, take a custom tour and see them from the skies!
sea life spotting over the pacific
The Pacific is home to incredible marine life, including dolphins, whales, sea lions, and seals. Take a boat tour out of Newport or Long Beach Harbor or take in the ocean from above.
dodger stadium
Baseball season is BACK, and Dodger Stadium is an LA icon. Root for your favorite players and enjoy a Dodger dog, or fly overhead and see home runs fly against the backdrop of downtown.
