Welcome James, Our New Flight Instructor

We are proud to welcome James Cockrell to the #FLYROGUE team.

James has been flying with us for over two years now, and just like us, he’s a big fan of Star Wars and the references we make. “Saying ‘Rogue Two’ over the radio never gets old,” James says.

He’s been a fan of aviation for a while, too–virtually! As a kid, James got into flying planes and helicopters in video games and simulators. In 2017, he took the next step and started paragliding and paramotoring!

Today, his favorite part of flying is the sense of freedom. His advice for students? “Slow down, take your time, enjoy the ride.”

But the best part about being a pilot? James says it’s the friends he’s made during his journey.
